You might notice that a lot of Techwag is missing, gone, DOA, with a pile of 404 entries all over the place. We had to move hosting companies recently and there were a few hitches along the way. The next goal is to pull the original articles as written out of storage on a hard drive somewhere and get them back on Techwag so that people can read them. At one point there were some two thousand articles on the site; the goal is to bring the best of the best, the things you really loved back onto the site.

That is the part I am looking forward to the most, some of those articles really need to be updated, and this is an opportunity for me to do so. Something that should not be passed up, updating content will make this more like a living breathing document rather than just a static opinion news style web site.

I also want to take this in a different direction; there are some thoughts about politics and technology that really need to be addressed. While we struggle with issues like SOPA, PIPA (dead for now), ACTA, NDAA and others it is time that people in IT start playing the political game. I admire sites like TechDirt and BoingBoing, so you will see a lot more articles like they write. It is long past the time to get off the fence and find our political voices as well.

So as I slowly rebuild the site, please be patient with us, there are a lot of cool things coming down the road.
