Yesterday was the Seattle Gay Pride Parade 2012, and I was taking pictures down in Westlake. Overall the parade seemed like it was ok, but it felt constrained or more restrained than last year for some reason. Lately it seems like a lot of people are desperately trying to have a good time, but while we put on our happy face, there are too many things going on to really nail down where the malaise is happening in our society. It is not the Gay Pride Parade that is causing it, but everything that is going on around us, there are still many people in dire economic states, maybe we can do something to help them out. Then maybe we can’t, the supreme court will rule on Obama Care, but given the rulings about Citizens United, and Arizona, Obama Care might not stand a snow balls chance.
